Current Issues
- - The iPhone automatic brightness adjustment dims the flashlight when it's dark.
- - Unfortunately Apple does not allow iPhone software developers to adjust the brightness of the screen. If your iPhone or iPod Touch is set to Auto-Brightness, the screen will dim when you are in the dark... which is naturally when you want your flashlight to be bright.
- - The work-around for this problem is to turn off Auto-Brightness by going to Settings -> Brightness and setting Auto-Brightness to OFF.
- - There is an open case with Apple to resolve this issue. But there's no commitment from Apple as to when, or if, they will allow developers to control screen brightness in the future.
