The VariBright Flashlight is very easy to use. When you start it, the screen will be all white which provides the maximum brightness. If maximum brightness is what you want, you are done.
If you want to adjust the brightness, tap the screen and drag your finger. Dragging to the left or down will result in reducing the screen brightness; dragging to the right or up will result in increasing the screen brightness. While your finger is on the screen, the current brightness will be shown in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
While the VariBright Flashlight allows you to adjust the screen brightness, if you have your iPhone or iPod Touch configured to use the Auto-Brightness option, the Auto-Brightness will limit the maximum amount of light that can be output by the VariBright Flashlight. If you want to maximize the amount of light from the VariBright Flashlight, turn off Auto-Brightness .
To do this by go to the Home Screen, tap Settings, select Brightness and then set Auto-Brightness to OFF.
